Let's see....

What a fast summer this was. The weather here was just awful. The Ithaca Journal reported that Ithaca had 49 days of rain from June 1 to Sept. 1, which, when you think about it, is about every-other-day of rain. Blech!!

You all know that we are expecting our second child. The due date is November 16, 2004. The ultrasound showed us a little girl so we have chosen the name Isabella Marie. Kerry is huge and can't wait for the next 2 months to fly by.

Nick is hurriedly working on adding a spare bedroom to the basement. After set backs like finding out the middle of the house was literally resting on nothing and having to re-build a support wall (thank you Norman), he is finally into a phase where it looks like this project might get done before the arrival of Izzy - or Bella, if you prefer. Thanks go out to Uncle Mike and David Priester for all their expertise and volunteer work. I'll try to remember to bring home the digital camera from work and get some progress shots.

Riley is still Riley.....(sigh...) He turned 3 in August and is still into everything motorized, tools, and music. He understands the concept of being a big boy and that he's going to have a little sister (we hope). He's told us that his new baby sister is bringing him Christmas presents....this is news to us - but if it keeps him excited about having a baby sister, we'll go with it! 

Anyway, that's about it. No doubt the next time we update this site it will be to post pictures of Isabella. Sorry.
